Lackner Neon Glo 1930's clock

This clock has been restored to its original color of marbled alabaster white except on the bottom. The clock case will eventually turn back to butterscotch. There are no repairs done to the case and all parts are original. There are two chips on the center bottom under the back plate as pointed out in one of the pictures. Some of the screws are missing that hold the back plate on but it is held securely in place. This is an extremely desirable 1930s electric clock that is featured on the cover of Phillip Collins' PASTIME book of clocks (1993 Chronicle Books). The original LACKNER DULCY "NEON Glo CLOCK" manufacturer’s plate is still on the reverse of this catalin timepiece. The "glo" is produced through a neon tube that surrounds the clock face. When plugged into an outlet, the clock always runs though the neon can be turned on with a toggle switch on the back. The clock seems to be within a minute after running a day though I can’t guarantee its continued use. Sometimes I have to turn on the neon for a few seconds and the turn it off and on to get it to full brightness. Price is SOLD

Brown Lackner Neon Glo 1930's clock

The brown lackner is perfect and is the nicest marbled cabinet I have seen. The brown cabinets don't ussually have this much marbleing. It Works great and is all original. The only flaw are some scratches on the glass dial cover. Price is Sold
