Antique Hand painted Writing Box Quebec
This is an old hand painted writing box that I have been told is from around 1850. It says Quebec and the painting shows a steamboat and sailboats which might help date this box. It is in rough shape but is very restorable in the hands of a pro. . There is some areas that have had repairs but were never finished. It appears to be some form of epoxy. There is crazing lines in the finish in spots. The pullout drawer has some nice felt on the open out table top. Please examine the pics carefully and ask questions.
